37th material in the row — day by day

In previous materials I listed podcasts and resources for learning web3. However, to access web3 is not super important to be able to code smart contracts, etc. The only thing needed are wallet and very basic knowledge.

This material consists top famous and checked crypto wallets.

It is commonly known that there are different kind of crypto wallets, they are divided into: Hot wallets and cold wallets.

Hot wallets are very user friendly and with less security level, because of connection to the Internet and way of storing private key.

Examples:

  • desktop wallets,
  • mobile wallets,
  • Plugin/extension of a browser

Cold wallets are more secured, usually offline.

Examples:

  • paper wallet,
  • hardware wallet.
